“You promised me the world and you actually delivered it !”.  That was the exact sentence from one of our largest clients this week with regard to our ShoreTel implementation for them.   We were there to meet about network design but our customer wanted to give us an update on how the system had been performing.   He went on to say about ShoreTel simplicity,”without having to pay our carrier an arm and a leg or bolt on a new solution I now have the exact report I need with regard to our port utilization.  We have had 6 calls to 911 now since our deployment and I can’t tell you how great it is to know at which site and which phone the call was made.  This has enabled us to mobilize our response teams so much faster.”

So we sat and listened patiently with regard to the need to discuss the network and he added, “I used to have to drop everything I was doing to move phone extensions, that now happens automatically.  And on a seasonal basis some people would sit elsewhere in the district and use a different phone,  they now all know how to login and re-assign their extension to the phone at their temporary location…….and I only had to show this to one person.   There is so much ShoreTel simplicity that I have opened my mind and considered allowing people that are I.T saavy or in my department the ability to manage some of their own departments.”

We felt that with all of the buzz about the Denver Broncos and their United in Orange campaign that we would share one of our own United in Orange stories since we have been that way for some time now.
