Cisco Catalyst Switch 3560

What do you need  ?

The Catalyst 3560 offers services through a robust Layer 2 and Layer 3 fixed and stackable switch.

The 3560 Series is an enterprise-class switch that includes IEEE 802.3af and Cisco pre-standard Power over Ethernet (PoE), and PoE and IEEE 802.3af power standard support functionality in Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet configurations. The Cisco Catalyst 3560 is ideal for small enterprise LAN access or branch-office environments and combines 10/100 and 10/100/1000 for 24 or 48 ports and PoE configurations. The 3560 enables the deployment of new applications such as IP telephony, wireless access, video surveillance, building management systems, and remote video kiosks. The Cisco Catalyst 3560 offers superior multilayer, granular QoS features to help ensure that network traffic is classified and prioritized. Configuration of QoS is greatly simplified through AutoQoS. Customers can deploy networkwide intelligent services such as advanced QoS, rate limiting, Access Control Lists (ACLs), multicast management, and high-performance IP routing while maintaining the simplicity of traditional LAN switching. The 3560 Series has a forwarding rate of 38.7 Mpps and is a 1-RU fixed-configuration multilayer switch that is typically used in a small campus core, in a medium wiring closet, or in a branch office.

Cisco Catalyst Switch 3750

Cisco Catalyst Switch 3750

What do you need  ?

With Cisco StackWise technology, customers can create a single, 32-Gbps switching unit with up to nine Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series switches.

The 3750 Series is available with either the IP Base Image or the IP Services Image. The IP Base Image feature set includes advanced QoS, rate limiting, ACLs, and basic static and Routing Information Protocol (RIP) routing capability. The IP Services Image provides a richer set of enterprise-class features including advanced hardware-based IP unicast and multicast routing. The 3750 Series increases availability for stackable switches by allowing each switch in the stack to serve as a master, creating a 1:N availability scheme for network control, and a forwarding processor. In the unlikely event of a single unit failure, all other units continue to forward traffic and maintain operation. The 3750 Series supports jumbo frames on the 10/100/1000 configurations for advanced data and video applications requiring very large frames, and various models have 24 to 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports and IEEE 802.3af PoE capabilities, as well as 12 SFP-based Gigabit ports. The 3750 series also has 4 x 1 G uplinks or 1 x 10 G uplinks available and 10/100 and 10/100/1000 configurations for 24 or 48 ports, as well as being a fixed-configuration stackable switch. The 3750 has 1 to 1.5 RUs, depending on which model is chosen; has a forwarding rate up to 38.7 Mpps; and is typically used in a small campus core, in a medium wiring closet, or in a branch office.
